Cooperative way of working

Working from remote is nowadays the standard. Everything moved online, including this workshop. With this new platform comes new possibilities and also challenges. People can easily tune in to the workshop from the comfort of their chairs at home. But it’s getting harder to keep their attention on the task at hand. Turn your webcam off, and you can go do other things without anyone noticing it.

So, how do we keep the participants engaged with all the distractions, and instigate conversations naturally?

We changed the format! From working individually on the assignment to a cooperative way of working. By working together on the assignments together with peers you will not simply complete an assignment, but debate which solution is the “best” and discuss that with the instructors.

The “Cooperative way of working” is not only engaging, because you will connect with your peers and get the most out of the workshop, but it’s also a fun way of learning a new language.
